7 best places to enjoy with your family on the weekend
- Amusement Parks
- Zoos and Aquariums
- Farmers’ Markets
- Theater Performances
- Science Centers
- Farm Visits
- Bowling Alleys
1. Amusement Parks
This was my second visit to this place. Last Sunday, I went with 2 friends. Rithala is a little far from the city if you are a resident.
We came from Kalkaji and took the Metro from Nehru Place to the Central Secretariat, Kashmiri Gate, and Rithala. We were there in just under 1.15 minutes. You can get a rickshaw at Rithala for around 10 rs. You can also walk.
The mall is called “Metro Walk”. The park opens around 1pm, which is a drawback as there is less time to enjoy the rides multiple times.
Both times I’ve been, 2 of the main rides are permanently closed for maintenance and have not opened, which is frustrating.
The water splash and 1 force were under maintenance this time. The entry fee for adults is Rs 500, which includes unlimited rides. A new attraction called zorbing costs an additional 100 rs.
We enjoyed the rain dance and MAD theater. We didn’t have time to see the MAD Theatre and King of Quick Guns. Metro Walk offers better restaurants like Pind Balluchi, Pizza Hut, McDonald’s, and others. [Which place is best to enjoy?]
2. Zoos and Aquariums
We had a lot of trouble getting to the zoo. No public transport is available, nor can we take a shuttle from the city. (We would have had to pay for this service).
We took a taxi instead, and when we arrived at the front gate, we were told “we couldn’t park there” because it was reserved only for hotel guests.
Although we understand the need for reserved parking, we also don’t own a car and haven’t parked anywhere. This was a bad start to our visit.
We don’t know what the $10 extra cost was for. Other Australian zoos, such as Taronga and Melbourne, are more prominent and have aquarium sections of similar size.
The entry fee is higher than other Australian zoos (such as Taronga or Melbourne), both of which are larger and have a similar aquarium section. We’re not sure what the extra $10 cost was for.
The only keeper we saw was leading tours. We may have gone on a Monday, so there wasn’t as much staff. A peacock climbed into one of the nest boxes and caused a lot of distress to the penguins.
The penguins couldn’t leave the room to escape. We tried for 15 minutes to locate and alert a staff member but finally gave up, hoping it would resolve itself. [Which place is best to enjoy?]

3. Farmers’ Markets
Farmers’ markets are becoming more popular, but little is known about the benefits they bring to farmers. This paper reviews the literature on farmers’ markets and their contributions to rural communities, urban centers in which they operate and the challenges they face.
The review found that farmers’ markets have many benefits, but there is a gap in research on the impact they may have on urban areas and tourism. The majority of studies were conducted in developed countries.
However, the research done in developing countries has equal, if not greater, importance due to farmers’ markets’ potential to enhance smallholder producers’ economic well-being.
Future directions for research: Future research will guide policymakers by providing more evidence about the economic impact and potential of farmers’ markets, tourism, and urban development. [Which place is best to enjoy?]
4. Theater Performances
We’ve seen them all. They are the ones that criticize the production from all sides. They criticize both the scenery and script.
They suggest the lead actors take up basket-weaving since acting is not their forte. We enjoy it because we aren’t the ones being criticized.
It can make you feel nauseous, like overeating fried food. It’s not very nice to read about others being destroyed.
This kind of scolding is not necessary when writing a theater review. It is possible to be a critic without being cruel. Analyzing a production doesn’t have to be cruel.
Some of my reviews have been very nice, others not so good, and some are bizarre. One reviewer told me that Galileo wouldn’t act like I did in my play. One reviewer responded positively but misunderstood what the play was about.
He confused the “parabola,” which Galileo invented, with the “parable,” which Galileo didn’t. This led to some odd paragraphs.
We were thrilled when another reviewer gave us a five-star review. We went to another play that he had also given a five-star review, and we didn’t like it. Was the reviewer correct about our play or the other? [Which place is best to enjoy?]

5. Science Centers
I will be writing a review of the National Science Centre – Delhi. It is located near the Pragati Maidan Metro Station. This place is very informative. The center is well-planned. It’s worth visiting, especially for kids.
Inside the science center, you will find a variety of exhibits and technology-based items. You will find something new and exciting as you enter the center.
You can learn many things in the science center, including 3d films, projects, history, chemical reactions and more.
It is the largest and most visited place in Delhi. The most important thing is that you learn and do actual activities.
The center is divided into many sections, including fun science and others. You can easily spend a couple of hours without getting bored. The main attractions are listed as Mirror Maze. Dinosaur Room.
Physics Room. Fun Science Room. Atom Power Room. History Room. The Fun Science Room was my favorite. It was a lot of science fun.
You can find out about all things science-related. Going to the science center with your child will feel much better. [Which place is best to enjoy?]
6. Farm Visits
It’s not what you would expect a visit to a farm to be, but it is a worthwhile side-trip, even if only to see how the 2% of milk that goes into your Frosted Flakes each morning gets there. Hinchley’s, a working dairy farm of 2500 acres, is owned by a family.
You will see that what you see is an actual labor of love. Tina is your tour guide, and she owns the farm. Her husband, who is always working on the property, also works there. You will be taken through the different operations in the dairy industry.
Tina’s Farm supplies milk grocers, cheese processors, and almost every McDonald’s in the United States. Prepare yourself for the sounds and smells. It’s not a Disney-styled tour, but real stuff. It is fantastic.
Tina loves her family, her farm and her cows. They are all named, and most of the time, there’s a story to go with their names.
She knows their personalities and quirks, just as you do your co-workers. Glory is a calm, easy-going cow who you will get to milk.
You will learn that cows enjoy structure and routine, and as Tina put it so well, they sometimes need humans to do their thinking for them. Cows will follow you and are as big as 1800 lb dogs. [Which place is best to enjoy?]
